BLS for Healthcare Provider
Course Description: The Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider course is designed for a wide variety of healthcare professionals. This class teaches the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. The course is a required learning course for all healthcare professionals.

Course Description: The HeartSaver CPR/AED course is designed for the lay responder. This class teaches the skills necessary to overcome reluctance to act in emergency situations and to recognize and care for life-threatening respiratory or cardiac emergencies. Through "hands-on" training and video demonstrations, students will learn the standard protocols for administering proper CPR techniques and understand when and how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED).

Course Description: The American Heart Association's Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) course is designed for healthcare providers who either direct or participate in the resuscitation of a patient, whether in or out of hospital. Through the ACLS course, providers will enhance their skills in the treatment of the adult victim of a cardiac arrest or other cardiopulmonary emergencies. ACLS emphasizes the importance of basic life support CPR to patient survival; the integration of effective basic life support with advanced cardiovascular life support interventions; and the importance of effective team interaction and communication during resuscitation. Prior to the class, you must complete the required Pre-Course Assessment found within the ACLS Manual/CD-ROM. The price for this class includes the Manual/CD-ROM which will be shipped to you upon your completion of the registration process.
Designed for: The course is designed for medical providers such as physicians, nurses, emergency medical technicians, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and other professionals who may respond to a cardiovascular emergency.

Course Description: This course covers the information and skills necessary to receive recertification in ACLS. This "Recertification" class is designed only for those who have taken and successfully passed the full "Initial" ACLS course previously. Prior to the class, you must complete the required Pre-Course Assessment found within the ACLS Manual/CD-ROM. If you cannot locate your old Manual/CD-ROM, it is available for only $37.00 (which includes tax and shipping) and may be purchased when you proceed through the registration process on the Course Calendar. Course Description: We now offer the First-Aid Certification Course in a blended learning approach. Instead learning in a traditional classroom setting, the student can take an online course, then follow-up with one of our Certified Instructors to perform the necessary Skills-Check. The fee to the American Heart Association for this online portion is only $25.00. The fee to us for the required Skills-Check portion is only $20.00.
